Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils must wear plain black shoes or trainers, and the shoes must be named in accordance with the school’s naming policy. Boys may also wear plain black boots as part of their school uniform. All shoes must have closed toes to prevent injuries around the school. Shoes that are not allowed include any with logos, any coloured shoes other than black, open‑toed footwear, high‑heeled shoes, flip‑flops or any footwear with decorative features.
PE Shoes
Pupils must wear trainers or plimsolls when attending PE lessons. Closed‑toe shoes are required for all other school activities, including games and sports, to prevent injuries in the playground and around the school. Swimming footwear requirements are not specified in the policy.
