Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils in Reception to Year 6 must wear sensible black shoes with closed toes during the school day.
In the nursery, pupils must wear strong shoes that are suitable for climbing, with Velcro fastenings where possible, and must not wear Crocs, open‑toed shoes or sandals.
Shoes with open toes, trainers, plimsolls or boots are prohibited while at school, although pupils may change into trainers at lunchtime.
The policy does not specify any other shoe colours or styles beyond those described.
PE Shoes
Pupils must wear trainers or plimsolls for indoor PE lessons, and they should wear white socks with these shoes.
No footwear requirement is specified for outdoor games or swimming lessons.
