St Helen's Catholic Primary School
Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils must wear sensible plain black school shoes that are free from flashing lights, jewellery or other decorations. The shoes must be completely black and have closed toes. Girls’ shoes must be flat, with no high heels or boots, and white or black sandals are permitted in summer. Boys’ shoes must not display trainer logos or emblems. Trainers, boots higher than the ankle, sandals (except the summer allowance for girls), and any shoes with flashing lights or decorative features are not allowed for regular school days.
PE Shoes
Pupils must wear trainers or pumps during all PE lessons.
The PE kit requires that students use either a pair of trainers or pumps, which must be suitable for indoor or outdoor play.
No other footwear is permitted for PE activities; trainers are only allowed during PE lessons and clubs, and must be worn in place of regular school shoes.
