Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils must wear sensible, low‑heeled shoes or boots that support the foot. Trainers are not permitted. Fashion shoes with high heels, flip‑flops, sliders, Uggs and wellies are not allowed while inside the school premises; wellies may only be worn outdoors in wet or snowy weather. All pupils must wear appropriate footwear while on the school grounds.
PE Shoes
Pupils must wear trainers or pumps during indoor and outdoor PE lessons. Pupils must bring a clean pair of shoes to change into before PE for hygiene reasons. Pupils attending Forest School must wear Wellington boots or waterproof walking boots while outdoors and must carry a second pair of footwear to wear inside school. Swimming lessons do not specify footwear requirements, but pupils must have a swimming cap, towel and waterproof bag.
