Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils must wear navy or black school shoes for all regular school days. The shoes must be of an approved style and have closed toes. No boots, including Wellington boots, are permitted as regular school shoes. Open‑toed footwear, sandals, high‑heeled shoes, trainers or other shoes with brand logos or bright colours are not allowed.
PE Shoes
Pupils in Nursery must wear simple plimsolls or bare feet during PE lessons, and bare feet are permitted for one lesson per week. Pupils in Lower and Upper Foundation must wear simple plimsolls or black trainers, or bare feet, during PE lessons, and bare feet are allowed for up to three lessons per week, including gym. Pupils in Years 1 to 6 must wear plain black or navy trainers during sports kit days, which cover games, PE and swimming lessons. Plain black or navy trainers are compulsory for all PE, sports and games sessions for Years 2 to 6 as part of the sports kit. No further footwear is specified for swimming lessons beyond the requirement to wear plain black or navy trainers.
