Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils must wear safe, comfortable footwear suitable for the season. The footwear should be closed‑toed and allow active play. Shoes that are not permitted include high‑heeled or platform shoes, flip‑flops, shoes without a back, open‑toe shoes, jelly shoes, slip‑on shoes such as ballet shoes, Crocs, and fashion boots or any shoes that do not facilitate active play. If a pupil arrives in Wellington boots, they must bring a suitable pair of shoes to wear indoors. No specific colour or style is prescribed, but the footwear must meet the safety and comfort criteria outlined in the school policy.
PE Shoes
Pupils must wear plimsolls or trainers for indoor and outdoor PE lessons. The uniform policy does not set separate footwear requirements for sports, games or swimming lessons beyond those specified for PE.
