Shoe Guidelines
School Shoes
Pupils in Prep School must wear plain black leather shoes with closed toes; boots and trainers are not permitted.
Senior School pupils must wear plain black leather shoes or shoes that appear to be leather; boots, trainers, ballet pumps and high‑heel shoes are not allowed.
Sixth Form students must wear smart black, brown or blue leather shoes or shoes that appear to be leather; boots, trainers, high‑heel shoes and platform soles are prohibited.
In all cases, PE or sports shoes are not considered part of the regular school shoe requirement.
PE Shoes
Pupils in Pre‑Prep and Prep must wear gym shoes or plimsolls for gym and sports lessons.
For indoor PE lessons, the footwear worn must have non‑marking soles.
When participating in games such as rugby, football, hockey or netball, specialist footwear appropriate to the sport is required.
No specific footwear requirements are stated for swimming lessons.
