The requirements for school boots vary depending on the year group:
Years 7-11
Boots are not permitted at all for students in Years 7-11. Only proper school shoes are allowed.
Years 12-13 (Sixth Form)
For Years 12-13 students, certain boot styles are permitted:
- Chelsea boot style or similar close-fitting ankle boots
- Must be plain black
- Must be able to be polished (no suede)
- No motifs, logos, coloured stitching or reflective areas
- Laces (if any) should be plain black
Styles Not Permitted
The following footwear types are not acceptable for any year group:
- Black trainers
- Canvas shoes
- Plimsoll or Converse-style shoes (in either leather or fabric)
- Shoes with Velcro
- Footwear with large logos, embellishments, patches, or prominent tags
- Shoes with different coloured soles or stitching
