Important: Boots are not permitted at all for students in Years 7-11. Only students in Years 12/13 may wear certain boot styles.

Years 7-11

For girls in Years 7-11, boots are not permitted as part of the school uniform. Instead, students should wear:

  • Plain black shoes that can be polished (no suede)
  • No logos, colored stitching, or reflective areas
  • Plain black laces
  • Sensible design without thick soles or high heels/wedges

Years 12-13

Only for Sixth Form students (Years 12-13), the following boot styles are permitted:

  • Chelsea boot style or similar close-fitting ankle boots
  • Must be plain black and able to be polished

Not Allowed (Any Year)

The following footwear is not permitted:

  • Black trainers
  • Canvas shoes
  • Plimsole or Converse-style shoes (leather or fabric)
  • Suede boots/shoes
  • Footwear with logos, motifs, or colored stitching

For PE, girls should wear non-marking trainers and football boots as specified in the PE kit requirements, but these are not for regular uniform wear.
